There are four main tour routes – the Red Route, Yellow Route, Green Route and Purple Route – covering Hollywood, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Venice, Marina Del Rey and Downtown Los Angeles.
Then there are also two connector routes – the Blue Route and the Orange Route – servicing Universal Studios Hollywood and the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) hotels along Century Blvd.
Purchase a 24 hour or 48 hour ticket and enjoy the freedom to experience Los Angeles on your terms. For example, hop on at the Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, then hop off in Beverly Hills to shop on Rodeo Drive. Hop back on and head to Santa Monica to walk the Santa Monica Pier and beaches and hop back on to come back and experience the world-class shopping and museums in and around Hollywood.
We recommend, for maximum enjoyment, that on any one day, customers should aim to do no more than two of the tour routes, and definitely no more than three (as long as you board the first bus first thing in the morning).
How does Hop-On Hop-Off work? It’s easy, simple and fun! After boarding our open air Double Decker bus at one of our 70 stops, you can hop off to take in the many attractions along the route and when you are ready, hop back on to continue the tour. Just refer to the timetable section of the Starline CitySightseeing Hop on Hop off brochure for the next scheduled bus. And remember not to miss the last bus back to your final destination!
New in 2013 is that the tour narration can now be enjoyed simultaneously in nine different languages. The multilingual tour narration is offered in English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Italian, Chinese (Mandarin), Japanese and Korean.
Tickets valid for 24 hours or 48 hours can be purchased in advance online (often with special offers) or from Starline Tours agents across the city. They can even be purchased directly from the Double Decker bus drivers as you board the bus. Starline Tours has CitySightseeing staff located at key points around the routes to help assist you including: the Chinese Theater, Dolby Theatre and Pantages Theatre in Hollywood; at Stop 7 in Beverly Hills; on the Santa Monica Pier; and at Fisherman’s Village in Marina Del Rey.
Starline CitySightseeing is committed to providing accessible tours to persons with disabilities. Starline CitySightseeing does not discriminate on the basis of disability.
